I was recently a guest on The Pursuit of Wellness podcast and was thrilled with how it turned out. My only regret is that we didn’t talk more about AIP. We barely scratched the surface, and this needs to be a more extensive conversation. For three years at CCN, we’ve evaluated if people need a more restrictive approach to healing their bodies from autoimmune and inflammatory conditions. We’ve been dubbed the anti-diet plan, so we don’t want to jump straight into AIP if it’s unnecessary. CCN is tapping into the intuitive nature of the person to decide what’s best for YOU with our philosophy in mind. Let me briefly remind you of our philosophy and how we can make AIP work for CCN.
Our Philosophy
Eat within the hour of waking up.
Eat every 4 hours throughout the day.
ALWAYS combine your macros: Carbs, fat, and protein.
Keep meal sizes consistent, rather than huge meals and small snacks.
Include five colors a day from fruits and vegetables.
Drink half your body weight in oz of water and include Celtic salt.
Move your body how it feels good, including weight and resistance training.
Let’s talk about AIP! Over the last few months, I’ve shared some remarkable case studies and testimonials in our membership. Honestly, even I’m blown away by the healing stories we’ve experienced using the proper healing tools, including AIP. AIP stands for Auto Immune Protocol, but I’m dubbing it Anti-Inflammatory Protocol because it goes beyond diagnosed autoimmune conditions. It can resolve and heal thousands of symptoms and health conditions, and I will explain why!
AIP is neither calorie- nor macro-restrictive, like Keto or something similar, which disregards carbs as water-carrying molecules rather than energy-inducing, brain-fueling, liver-detoxing essential nutrients. Carbs are crucial, like fat and protein, and help restore the body when it comes to healing. The exception is severe brain disease, in which restricting carbs is beneficial. AIP floods your body with easy-to-digest nutrients that don’t require extra energy. Up to 70% of our daily energy usage goes into digestion and can take away from healing. We need the fuel when working towards healing, and easy-to-digest, potent nutrients are more powerful than we even give them credit for.
The other reason AIP works is it can completely heal your gut, which is often a root factor in many AI diseases and conditions. When we heal the gut, the body can release unnecessary inflammation that was brought on as an adaptation and protection mechanism. So, we have also seen incredible weight transformations and hair restoration during the process. Our bodies reflect the health of our cells, and sometimes, it takes a more in-depth approach, like AIP, to restore the cells and, in turn, restore the body!
How do youassess if you’re a good candidate for it?
You’ve completed at least one of our 30-day challenges and still have unresolved issues.
You have known chronic inflammatory problems.
You have strange symptoms and conditions that you can’t resolve with anything else.
You want to heal from your autoimmune conditions.

I have been eating the CCN way for almost 3 years and still have issues. I think it’s time to try AIP.
I use Real Salt vs Celtic Salt b/c I read that Real Salt comes from ancient sea beds before all the pollution came into our current oceans. Am I missing any benefits that Celtic Salt may have over Real Salt?
